The Forerunners

Sheikh. Waleed Abdulhakeem : A person who killed 77 people gets the “maximum punishment,” only 21 years in prison… That’s just about 3 months per person murdered!!!! And yet, they dare call Shariah law, which has the purpose of scaring people from doing crimes, “cruel,” when in fact, it’s a mercy from Allah! Allah says:

"And there is for you in legal retribution (capital punishment) -the saving of the- life O people of understanding, that you may become righteous." (Al-Baqara 2:179)

Juz 11
In this Juz we finish surah Taubah, Yunus (Jonah) and start surah Hud. This Juz speaks a lot of the Bedouins, hypocrites, war, Day of Judgment, Moses and one ayah about Jonah.
The hypocrites make excuses but they will be brought back to Allah. Allah is not pleased with the disobedient. The Bedouins are the worst in belief, some hope for a calamity to hit you but the calamity will be on them. Others, believe in Allah, last day, spend in way of Allah and Allah will admit them in mercy. The first to embrace Islam, Allah is please with them and they will be in Jannah. This is supreme success. Among the Bedouins, hypocrites and people of Madinah, they exaggerate and live in hypocrisy. There are some who acknowledge their sinning, mixing good deeds with bad one but Allah is most forgiving, most merciful. Allah says to take sadaqah from their wealth to purify them and Allah accepts repentance from his slaves, is Allah not the most merciful? Do good deeds, Allah sees them and we will be brought back and he will inform us of what we used to do. Some await Allah’s decree, whether he punish them or forgive them.   (9:94-106)
Those who put up a mosque for harm, Allah knows their intentions. Do not stand in their mosque. The mosque who’s foundation is piety is more worthy. Allah loves those who are pure. Their promise is Jannah and the others is hell. Who is truer in his promise then Allah? The believe who repents, worships Allah, praise Allah, bow down in prayer, who enjoin what is good and forbids what is evil, observe the limits set by Allah, and abstain from all kinds of sin, are those whose lives Allah’s purchased.   (9:107-112)
Prophets or believers are not to ask forgiveness for the mushrik even if their family members. Abraham  asking for his father’s forgiveness was because  of a promise to him but when it came clear to him that he was a disbelieve, he disassociated himself from him. Abraham was Al-Awwah. Allah will never lead a people astray after he has guided them. Allah knows everything and owns everything.  (9:113-116)
Allah has forgiven the Prophet (sws), Muhajirun, and Ansar who followed in time of distress (Tabuk expedition). Allah excepted their repentance and the three that did not go, Allah is the most forgiving, most merciful. Believers, be afraid of Allah and be with those who are true. The people of Madinah or the Bedouins should never think they are more worthy than the Prophet (sws) because they are not. They did not strive or spend in the way of Allah. It is not proper for believer to fight all together but for some to fight and others stay to teach Islam and warn the people. Fight those who disbelieve and remember that Allah is with the pious. Whenever a surah comes down, it increases the faith of the believer but for those with a disease in their heart, it adds suspicion. They are tried yet they do not repent or learn? Allah turned their hearts away from the Quran. (9:117-127)
It grieves Muhammad (sws) when they receive in jury and he is anxious for their guidance but if they turn away, Allah is sufficient. (9:128-129)
Then begins Surah Yunus (Jonah)
Alif. Lam. Ra. It is a wonder Allah sent a man from among them, warning and giving good news to those who believe of their deeds yet the disbelievers say he is a sorcerer. (10:1-2)
Allah created the earth in six days and then he rose over the thrown. There is no intercessor except by his leave. This is your Lord, do you not remember? To him do we all return, he begins and repeats creation. Allah rewards with justice, those who believe and those who disbelieve. Allah made the sun a shining thing and the moon as a light with different stages to tell time. Allah created in truth and sent ayahs for those who keep their duty to him. Those who do not hope to meet Allah, are pleased with this world and are heedless of the ayahs; hell is their destination. Believers, do righteous deeds and you will be given garden where there will be sayings of “Subanaka Alhumma”, “Salam”, and “Alhamdulilahi rabbil alamin”. And Allah leaves those who do not expect to meet him wandering blindly. When harm hit he invokes Allah but when it is released, he passes on his way. Allah destroyed nations before who did wrong although messengers came with clear proof. Allah made generations follow after them to see who would work. (10:3-14)
When the verses are recited to them they ask for another Quran but it is Muhammad (Sws) right to change it. Who does more wrong then he who forges a lie against Allah or denies ayahs? The disbelievers will never be successful. They worship things that have no profit (good or bad). Allah is above all partners. Mankind is born as one community. They ask why not a sign is sent down, but the unseen belongs to Allah. When Allah lets mankind taste mercy after adversity, they plot against the ayahs. The angels record what they plot. Allah enables them to travel though land and when their boat was being hit by seas they ask Allah to help them and they would be grateful but Allah after, they rebel. This life is brief and then Allah we return. Allah guides who he wills to the straight path.  For those who do good; no darkness will touch them and they will be given paradise. Those who earn evil deeds, they will have no defender; they will be covered in darkness. On the Day of Judgment, to those who worshipped others, they will be questioned. Sufficient is Allah, every person will know what they earned before and be brought back to Allah.  (10:15-30)
Who provides from you from the sky and earth? Who owns your hearing and sight? Brings living from the dead? Will you not then be afraid? Allah is truth, how do you turn away? The word of Allah is against disbelief. Do your partners originate or repeat creation? Allah guides people to the truth but most follow nothing but conjecture. The Quran was produced by only Allah, with no doubt. If Muhammad (sws) forged it then bring a surah like it? Those before them deny and they deny, of them are some who believe and others who don’t. For each and every person are their deeds. Allah does not wrong mankind, mankind wrong themselves. On the Day of Judgment, reunited will be those who denied and to Allah are their return.  Every Ummah, was sent a messenger where matters will be judged between them. They ask when will  be the promise of the Day of Judgment? Muhammad (sws) has no power except what Allah wills and for every community there is an appointed term.  But will you only believe it after it has befallen? Those who wronged, taste the everlasting torment. Is the Day of Judgment true? YES. Those who wronged themselves and thought they owned something on earth will feel regretful on that day. There is no doubt, all belongs to Allah, it is he who gives life and causes death and to him we return.   (10:31-56)
To mankind comes a good advice from Allah, healing hearts, guidance and mercy-The Quran. In Allah’s mercy let them rejoice, this is better. Those who invent lies (making lawful and unlawful) against Allah, imagine the Day of Judgment. Allah is the witness of every deed. No fear or grief shall touch the Auliya of Allah, those who abstain from wrongful deeds by doing righteous deeds, they are given glad tidings in the Dunya and Akhira. No change can be made to Allah’s words. Do not let the speech of the disbelievers fool you, Allah owns everything in the heavens and earth. He appointed the night for rat and day to make things visible. (10:57-67)
They say Allah begotten a son, Allah is rich, do they invent a lie against Allah? Saying what they know not? They will never be successful. The life of this world is brief and to Allah they will return. Recite the news of Noah, who gave his people warning and glad tidings but they denied him, they were drowned. Messengers were sent after him not bringing clear proofs but they would not believe what they rejected beforehand. Then Allah sent Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh, but they were Mujrimun, claiming Allah’s guidance as magic. They ask have you came to us to turn us away from the faith of our fathers? Pharaoh brought a sorcerer but Allah established and made apparent the truth. None believe in Moses except the offspring of his people because the fear of Pharaoh. Believers, put your trust in Allah, Moses and his brothers took dwellings in Egypt as places of worship, to offer prayers and give glad tidings. Allah took the Children of Israel across the sea and Pharaoh and his army was drowned. His body sign to mankind but many disbelieve. The Children of Israel settled in Israel. They were provided good tiding and did not differ until knowledge came, Allah will be the judge between them.    (10:68-93)
If you are righteous about what has been revealed, the truth has come from Allah. Be not those who belie the ayahs. Those against Allah will not believe, even if every sign came to them. Was there any town that disbelieved and their faith saved it except the people of Jonah? When they believed, Allah removed their torment. If Allah willed, everyone would believe, no person believes except by the will of Allah. Ayahs and warner do not benefit those who don’t believe. They wait for the Day of Judgment as the believers wait but Allah saves the messengers and believers. Mankind, never worship any other besides Allah, never be of the Mushrikun, and do not invoke other than Allah. If Allah touches you with hurt, no one can remove it and if Allah touches you with good, none can repel it. Truth has come, whoever receives it, is doing good on himself. Allah told Muhammad (sws) to follow the inspiration and be patient till the Day of Judgment. Allah is the best of judges.  (10:95-109)
Then Surah Hud begins
Allah tells us to worship none but Allah and ask forgives. The life of this world is a brief enjoyment and to Allah we return. They try to hide but Allah knows what they conceal. (11:1-5)
